A candle and prayer for Mr. K

Hi everyone,

How are you? Have you had fun during Golden Week?

Of course in Britain we don't have Golden Week so I have been working as

usual. Do you remember I wrote about Mr. K at the beginning of this year?

It would have been his birthday at the end of April so last week I went to

Liverpool cathedral to remember him. You can see a picture of

Liverpool cathedral at the top of this article. The day I went there, the

weather was beautiful with not a cloud in the sky, and the cathedral looked

so impressive against this backdrop.

In Britain, we often light a candle when someone has passed away. I did so

in the cathedral and said a prayer for Mr. K...

After that, I sat in my favourite part of the cathedral...

...and I remembered the fun times I'd had with Mr. K and his classmates.

I miss him but am so grateful I encountered him when I was in Oyabe.

I hope he is resting in peace now.

This week's blog article is just a short one. I'll have more news for you

next time though. I hope everyone is well and will look forward to hearing

about your Golden Week.

Thank you for reading this. Best wishes, from Corrina. ☺️
